Great For Back to School Pens. I love this pen. I've owned a couple of them since around 1999 or 2000. All the others had the GEL ink and I hated that as most everyone I owned would leak ink into my pocket. I never knew back then that you could get ball point refills instead of the GEL back then. I still have two of the older ones and had since learned that you can get ball point refills, so I have them now. I just bought this Crimson one for the color and didn't even know it was a ball point pen and not the GEL ink pen. I was just going to swap out the ink cartridge when it came in, but to my delight, it already had the roller ball point ink in it. Just a plus for me, and right in time for my birthday tomorrow!!! Joy!
